ISO 17889 certification, we got it! Dear collaborator, we are very proud to announce that Ceramiche Keope obtained another very important certification for environmental sustainability. This is ISO 17889 Sustainability for ceramic tiles, the first ISO standard to certify the sustainability of a specific product. Ceramiche Keope, together with the other brands of the Concorde Group, is the first company AT INTERNATIONAL LEVEL to have achieved this certification. In more detail, ISO 17889 certifies the environmental sustainability of products, production processes and supplies, alongside with corporate social responsibility, workplace safety and energy efficiency at all stages of production. The ISO 17889 standard provides 38 requirements to be met: ✅ Environmental sustainability of the product ✅ Environmental sustainability of the process ✅ Corporate social responsibility ✅ Safety of the production process ✅ Environmental sustainability of the supply chain ✅ Energy efficiency of the production process Ceramiche Keope's virtuous path towards an environment and people-friendly way of doing business is marked by certifications proving the company's concrete commitment. This latest milestone joins last year's Certification of the WELL Building Standard V2 credits - which attest to the healthiness of a building - with Keope porcelain stoneware tiles, and DECLARE Certification, which determines that our products are free of environmentally harmful chemicals. Keope also boasts UNI EN ISO 45001 Certification, covering the management of workers' health and safety in the workplace, and Certification of credits relating to the LEED environmental rating, which rewards the design and construction of buildings with low environmental impact. For Keope, environmental sustainability is not an ideal, rather a way of acting. Each certification increases the value of our products, which contribute to building more sustainable buildings that meet the standards required for the ecological transition.
